Q: What is RunTheCode? A: RunTheCode is a hands-on tech lab where students explore coding, robotics, 3D printing, and science through guided, project-based learning.
Q: Are the programs structured or self-paced? A: Our programs are self-paced. Each child progresses at their own speed with guidance from our lab mentors.
Q: How are students grouped? A: Students are grouped by skill level rather than age and work in small groups of 3–4.
Q: What does a typical day look like? A: Students rotate through 6 labs, working on different projects throughout the day with brain breaks to stay engaged.
Q: What are your summer camp hours? A: Monday to Friday, with flexible drop-off and pick-up between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Q: Can I choose my drop-off and pick-up times? A: Yes, you choose your preferred start and end time within our open hours.
Q: Is lunch provided? A: No. Students bring their own lunch and drinks. We provide snacks.
Q: Do students go outside? A: No. All activities take place inside our lab environment.
Q: Is the facility safe? A: Yes. We have staff supervision, a campus monitor, security cameras, and plaza security officers.
Q: Can parents enter the lab? A: No. For safety and focus, only staff members are allowed inside during sessions.
Q: Will I receive updates about my child? A: Yes. We regularly share your child’s progress and projects.
Q: How long does summer camp run? A: Summer camp runs for 8 weeks during June and July.
Q: When do homeschool and after-school programs run? A: From August 1st through May 30th.
Q: Do you offer other camps? A: Yes. We offer Winter Camp and Spring Camp.

Q: Can we visit the lab? A: Yes. A virtual tour will be available before opening. After June 1st, tours can be scheduled on Saturdays.
Q: Do you accept Step Up for Students scholarships? A: Yes! We are an approved provider. Families can use their Step Up funds to pay for eligible programs.
Q: Can I pay directly with Step Up? A: Yes, depending on your scholarship type, you may be able to pay us directly through the Step Up platform.
Q: What if I can’t pay directly through Step Up? A: In that case, you can pay out of pocket and submit your receipt to Step Up for reimbursement, based on your scholarship eligibility.
Q: Will I receive a receipt for reimbursement? A: Yes. After payment, you will receive a confirmation email and receipt that you can use for Step Up reimbursement.

My name is Ghizlen Lomri
RunTheCode is led by a certified STEM teacher with real classroom experience working with elementary and middle school students.
As the creator of a successful coding and robotics program in a local charter school, she has helped hundreds of students build confidence, creativity, and real technical skills.
Her approach combines structured learning with hands-on projects, making complex concepts simple, engaging, and fun for every child.
RunTheCode was created to bring that same level of quality and impact to more students in the community.
